Visually Engaging Recovery/Wellness Plan (VERP)

The Visually Engaging Recovery/Wellness Plan is a tool designed for primary care settings. You can have PCPs do a very simple version of the VERP with patients (or just have the patient fill it out), later, if needed, allied health staff do a more in depth VERP.

During this webinar you will learn:

The basic VERP,

How you can introduce the VERP into Primary Care Settings,

How you can use the VERP with any kind of adjunct psychotherapy (CBT, psychodynamic, ACT, etc.).

The VERP is based on the matrix. While the matrix is most often associated with ACT, it's in fact a Big Picture point of view that can be used with any model of treating and influencing people. Therefore, no one needs to be versed in any particular treatment model to use the VERP. It's simply a way of creating a big picture view to include efforts to recover from illness and move toward wellness.

As we all know, when we are ill it's easy to lose sight of the big picture and keep focused on moving toward friends, family and the stuff of wellness.
