Seeking a new Lenten practice? Why not look to our Lenten roots? Combining the best of Desert Spirituality and the works of social justice we offer a powerful contemplative retreat using Visio Divina - a new term describing a very old Christian practice of praying with sacred art, lifting our minds and hearts to God. Inclining our hearts toward God opens us to the leadings of God to action in the works of compassion and social justice. Join us in this desert experience and "see" where God might be leading you. No background in art necessary
Tim Latzke is a graduate from the Benedictine Spiritual Formation Program who is also an artist and spiritual director. he is deeply committed to contemplative prayer practices and is knowlegeable about desert spirituality. Tim seeks to share the practice of Visio Divina through art. (No art experience necessary.)
