Spiritual Conversations:  Online Class                      A Natural Balance: Christianity's Contribution to the Global Ecological Conversation

 July 5 - August 16, 2018 Thursdays, 10-11:30 am MST or 6-7:30 pm MST

The first class on July 5th will be an introduction to the online cohort.

Facilitators:  Maria Plafcan and Sister Ana Cloughly, OSB          Fee: $65

Questions to ponder: Is climate change a consequence of human activity, part of the Earth's natural cyclical processes or perhaps both? How does deforestation, pollution, water scarcity and the loss of biodiversity affect our lives?

This seven-week course explores the most pressing ecological questions of our time. Our primary goal is discovering how we respond to God's call to care for the earth. We will examine these issues from the scientific, ethical and spiritual perspectives.

Each week you will receive a module containing informational videos, reading material and reflection questions that will prepare us for a weekly conversation online.

For more information on this course, please contact: Ana Cloughly, OSB, Director of Contemplative Vision at sana@benethillmonastery.org or 719-633-0655 x150
