The purpose of Agronomy 101 is to provide attendees (who may have little to no ag background), a very basic understanding of agriculture and food production (crop protection, technology advancements, yearly cycles and current issues/concerns). The overall goal is to increase participant awareness of agriculture and offer them personal insight into the industry from a variety of perspectives (grower, retailer, and agronomist.)
